Move all boundaries Same as above, but the script should be opened and run from the shell
Move the boundary nearest to the cursor
to the zero crossing nearest to the cursor. (Boundaries aligned with the boundary
on the selected IntervalTier will also be moved.)
(requires 4.1.28 or later) Annotation of intervals or points in a TextGrid by means of a ManPage.
(Screenshot)
On the screen you get a ManPage with (phonetic) symbols. Click on
a symbol and that symbol will be added to a selected interval/point.
The zip-file contains 4 files. They should all be stored in the same
directory. Label.man is the ManPage with the symbols.
Getlabel.praat is a script, that 'moves' the symbols to the
TextGrid. settier.psc is a script for setting the active tier.
tiernumber.txt stores information about the active tier (simply a
number).
Open Label.man with Read from file...
Then you get a ManPage (this page is designed
for annotating Danish).
Now you can edit a sound and a TextGrid. Select both the Sound and
the TextGrid an click Edit. (You can also Edit the TextGrid by itself.)
After this step it is important, that you make sure, that only
the TextGrid is selected (highligthed) in the object window.
Now you can add symbols
to the selected interval, play the interval, delete the last character
in the interval, and select previous and next interval.
This may sound difficult. But it isn't. If you cannot make things work,
don't hesitate to send me an email.
Change the ManPage and scripts as you like.
This script will draw an FFT spectrum from a selection in the editor window.
(2002.05.23: "To Spectrum" changed to "To Spectrum (fft)" according to rules in ver. 4.0.17 for windows.)
[Updated] This script opens all sounds or Pitch-tiers in the selected directory. You have to specify
the sound format, and optionally you can add a filter, and you can choose among
predifined directories.
Unix users have to make some changes in the form (read the script).
